Description

Rare Dial 211 Mr. Saxaphone Charlie Parker and his fellow saxophonists having a jam session of sorts, Charlie Parker, James Moody, Wardell Grey, Dexter Gordon, Serge Chaloff and Don Byas are all present here. Record appears to have been made in the late 40's and 7 tunes. This LP Goldmines for $800 in VG+ condition. I will give the vinyl a VG rating, has a few light surface marks, but none that can be felt by the finger, but this is such a rarity that I am surer some fan will acquire this very shortly. Tunes are:

The Chase (Wardell Grey and Dexter Gordon)
Blues in Teddy's Flat (Teddy Edwards)
How Deep The Ocean (Charlie Parker)

Stormy Weather (Don Byas)
Deep Freeze (Arne Domnerus)
Mad Monk (Serge Chaloff)
In The Mood (James Moody)

Since this is rare recording that apparently has a very high book value, I am open to answering as many questions as I can if I have the answer, as I stated earlier, Goldmine lists this LP for $800 in VG+ condition and this is VG condition, the vinyl is strong and appears to have been played a few times before, light surface marks, but no "finger feels" of the marks. Wonderful collectible and any Bird fan should know that Dial records are very collectible. PayPal preferred and overseas bids welcome.
