Description

This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like Deep Purple. On sale is the Dutch Purple Records test pressing of Deep Purple's 1977 Powerhouse album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has Deep Purple written on it and the Matrix number (062-60072). The record has the white Proefpersing (Dutch for Test Pressing) label on the A side and a white label on the B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record doesn't sound too good and has a few ticks and skips regularly, especially on side B. The sleeve itself is in a poor condition with quite a number of small holes as shown in the pictures. There are no tears, but it is over 40 years old and it looks like that.
