Description
This is apparently a very rare LP, as I've only seen a couple of this version listed on Ebay, or anywhere else!
FORMAT: 12" 33 1/3 RPM LP
ARTIST: Jackie McLean
TITLE: A Long Drink Of The Blues
LABEL: New Jazz
NUMBER: ST 8253 (Status on Cover); Vinyl is NJLP 8253 High Fidelity Long Playing Microgroove
MONO/STEREO: Mono
LABEL DESCRIPTION: Purple label, Silver lettering, RVG stamped in the dead wax.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (COVER): Poor - Significant wear, taped spine. Name written on cover.
GRADE & DESCRIPTION (RECORD): VG-. I last played this in October and took note that it was VG/VG-.
Side B appears worse. I made the comment that it was still "very listenable".
This is sold AS IS, listed for its rarity and is highly collectible.
FINE PRINT:Thank you for viewing my auction. These records are from my personal collection, many are duplicates of ones I already own. Therefore, the majority I have listed have not been play graded for the entire length of the album. Most are visually graded only. I am not a professional record dealer, so I’m not 100% schooled on grading records (keep that in mind when bidding). Although, I am a fanatical record collector, so I do have experience in buying records and thoroughly enjoying them! I try to list everything that is wrong with the record and cover that I can. I may not always catch writing on the labels, so if that’s a concern please ask before bidding. I also don’t grade the paper inner sleeves, and sometimes don’t know whether the one that’s there is original. If that’s important to you, again please ask prior to bidding. Many of my records will come with a new and clean paper or poly-lined paper inner sleeve and all will be shipped with a poly outer sleeve in a proper LP mailer.
Please feel free to ask questions, I don’t want to have to deal with unhappy buyers or buyer’s remorse. But, this is not my full time job, so please allow 24 hours or so for me to respond. I’ll try to answer last minute questions, but can’t guarantee it.
All LP’s will be shipped media mail, unless other means are requested for an additional fee.
I will combine shipping. $1 for each additional LP. For now I will ship to only the USA.
If you buy more than 1 LP and want to combine shipping, please wait for invoice total before paying. Free shipping applies to only the album listed as free shipping on combined orders.
