Rare Jimi Hendrix Compilation Album from 1979
Produced by Polydor and sold exclusively in branches of Marks and Spencer stores.

I've followed the grading system of The Record Collector Guide:
MINT.THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY.THE SLEEVE AND INNER SHOULD BE IN PERFECT CONDITION.
EXCELLENT.THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED,BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY. THE SLEEVE AND INNER MIGHT HAVE SLIGHT WEAR OR CREASING.
VERY GOOD.THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES,BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AND THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH.NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON SLEEVE AND INNER IS ACCEPTABLE.
GOOD.THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED,PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES.THE SLEEVE AND INNER SUFFER FROM FOLDING,SCUFFING OF EDGES,SPINE SPLITS,DISCOLORATION.
FAIR.THE RECORD IS STILL JUST PLAYABLE BUT HAS NOT BEEN CARED FOR PROPERLY AND DISPLAYS CONSIDERABLE SURFACE NOISE.IT MAY EVEN JUMP.THE SLEEVE AND INNER WILL BE TORN,OR STAINED,OR DEFACED.
I'd grade this record as Excellent and the sleeve as VG+. See photos.
I've been a Hendrix fan for over 30 years and I've been collecting albums, singles, cds and memorabilia since I was in my early teens. I'm now selling off my collection as I want to clear up some space in my home. All the vinyl that I'm selling has been owned by me for several decades. It has been well looked after. I've never played any of these records in the time that I've owned them. In fact, I haven't owned a record player for many years so I can only grade the quality of the vinyl by sight.
