Description
I am selling my collection of Dvorak Symphonies with Istvan Kertesz conducting The London Symphony Orchestra on Decca SXL wide band early pressings all of which are mint or near mint
This one is Symphony Number Eight.
The vinyl is near-mint, probably mint. The mint labels have "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" at the upper left. The sleeve is near-mint/excellent with slight grubbiness to the unlaminated rear turn-back cover. The original inner sleeve is near mint, perfectly white with a small cancelled serial number written in one corner.
This is one of the best copies you are likely to find: but if you don't agree you may return it for a full refund.
Look out for more SXL's and other rare recordings in high grade which I am disposing of.
It is are part of a personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs ; most are in excellent or better condition; including several rarities, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo: De Vito, Michelangeli, Furtwangler, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.
I will be listing numbers of them individually throughout the next two weeks or so. So please review my other listings from time to time. They must go and are sold without reserve.
I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
I will give postal discounts for multiple purchases and I am happy to ship anywhere in the world. If you are bidding from outside UK European Postage is £6; and America, China, Japan & the Far East is £9.
