Description
This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like Focus. On sale is the Dutch Imperial test pressing of Focus' 1971 Focus Plays Focus album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has Focus (in red) written on it and the Matrix number (24192). The record has the white Proefpersing (Dutch for Test Pressing) label on the A side and a white label on the B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record sounds good with only a few ticks on 2 songs and some crackling. The sleeve itself is in good condition with some small holes on the front and back as shown in the pictures. There are also small brown stains on the sleeve (see pictures)There are no tears, but it is over 40 years old and it looks like that. If you need more pictures, just ask. The run-out groove has 24.192A//13697-1 on the A side and 24.192B//13698-1 on the B side. I tried to make a picture of that as well. Tracklist: Side A: Focus, Why Dream, Happy Nightmare. Side B: Anonymus, Black Beauty, Sugar Island, Focus. Registered shipping only. Shipping and handling is: Nederland €12, EU €20, Rest of the world €30. Registered shipping only! I can combine shipping, just add a euro for any extra album, or wait until I've sent you an invoice.
