Simon King and the Visions - Dong Dong Diki Diki Dong - Visionary On the tiny and short lived Irish label Honey COMB 8 from 1969
Very rare and obscure single. The A side is a cover of a Golden Earing song (the title reminds me more of the Monty Python Eurovision song, Bing Tiddle Tiddle Bong) It's a decent pop psych cover. The B side is much more interesting. Quite a heavy instrumental with lashings of Hammond.
There is nothing I can find about the group, only that most of the acts on this label were show bands, but this lot were not. I have never seen another copy of this, and there is nothing on Popsike, Discogs or Youtube... A very, very rare record, and actually a decent single.
The record is in M- condition - not a mark on the vinyl, with just a little wear on the B side label
