Vic Chesnutt Little Original Black vinyl Mini LP pressing from 1990 Texas Hotel 20. This is Vic's first album after he was discovered by Michael Stipe of REM. There are a couple of bumps to the sleeve - see pics, but it is still in the original shrink wrap! The insert has pretty big splits on all edges and I'm not sure if it is discolored due to age or if that was the original color? The outer sleeve is more of an off-white too, so I think that is just the original color, I could be wrong! Play tested the first track and some random moments and there is some light crackling/surface noise which is noticeable in the quiet parts. As is the case with vinyl, some pressings are quieter than others. Maybe a deep clean would sort it out, maybe it is just the pressing? Visually the record surface is great, no marks as far as I can see. Maybe the slightest of warps, but could just be my slipmat, definitely not warped in a way that would be noticeable or affect play. Will ship out of the sleeve to avoid further splits. Vic Chestnut, Chessnutt, Chesnut.
