Victim / Strange Thing By Night



Very rare Irish punk single from 1978 on the legendary Good Vibrations label.



Come in cheapo foldout paper sleeve as was typical of the early releases.


There were quite a few variants of the sleeve - this one (as far as my failing eyes can determine) is “white “ and is in near-pristine condition. There are some minor tears along the top, but it folds out perfectly and is fully legible.


Inside is a generic white inner to house the record, which carries plain text labels (some copies had a logo version of the band’s name), with a push-out 4-prong centre.


The record was Made In Ireland.


As with the majority of my singles of this type and owing to having been stored in an attic, the record surfaces look shite ! However, once again, the record (both sides) plays perfectly and the sonics are glorious !


Fully play-tested, there are no jumps, skips, ticks or scratches whatsoever. I will attempt to clean it up but prospective buyers need not fear. It sounds fabulous and plays like the day it was bought.
