Description
Collectors, here is a fun disc, Victor one sided 10 inch #4864, with back sticker date of July 1, 1906. Len Spencer and Ada Jones perform Mr. Spencer's descriptive specialty, "Jimmie and Maggie at the Ball Game", with crowd noises and orchestra. Cute routine, Jimmie and Maggie decide a perfect summer day would be at the baseball game, Jimmie describes the play and Maggie gets to sing a song, very enjoyable. The record plays well with fairly minimal surface noise. A really early record about baseball, please note this is two years before the song "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". Very uncommon, I have never seen it in 40+ years of collecting. Put this one in your baseball museum/shrine, go for it!
