Description

Canadian Hartzell Strathdene "Tiny" Parham, a pianist, made his reputation in Chicago from 1926 to 1930 where he accompanied Johnny Dodds and various female blues singers as well as led his own band.  His recorded output is small -- maybe forty-odd sides.  "Voodoo" and "Skag-a-Lag" were recorded in Chicago on February 1, 1929.  Some graying, few light scratches, plays well.  V+
