Description

Victor 40207 - Carter Family - (A) The Homestead on the Farm; (B) The Cyclone of Ryecove. Recorded November 1929. Graded E-. It requires high intensity lighting to see most of the scuffing/scratching because it is very fine and totally inaudible. There appears to very slight needle wear but I’m not sure about that. It plays very nicely. Two pops on (B); nothing else. Little to no distortion. The E- grade is very conservative.
