Description
Shown is an early 7" Victor Monarch "pre dog" disc #A124 dating to 1901 - 1902 production. We hear the Hayden Quartet , with "Farmyard Medley". The Quartet sings and we hear various animal sounds.
I've played it and it plays well, with normal background. However, if you look at the pic showing the record surface you will see a crack which extends less than half way into the record. As I played it, the 'tick' is heard and then disappears. It plays all the way through this crack to the record's end..
Graphics are very nice for a record over 120 years old.
