391. Although listed in the 78 rpm section, this disc actually is an early 33 rpm recording. The RCA Victor Program Transcriptions were first issued in 1932 and were a commercial failure. It was not until 15 years later that Columbia would be successful in marketing a Long Playing record. This demo disc has a number of popular Victor artists on side one, and classical selections on side two. The record is in very good condition, with only a few light and mostly non-sounding surface rubs. Groove wear is minimal, so it plays quite well. I'll grade it an 8 on a scale of 10.
