Description
Victor "First Dog" Monarch #146
L.A.W. March, played by Vess L. Ossman
Here's a lively march, recorded on April 11, 1902. The recording is very forward and clear, and Ossman is in his usual "show off" mode. There is a slight rough start, but otherwise the disc is free from heavy scratches, pits, needle runs or excessive groove wear. The surface shows light and mostly non-sounding rubs, and there is some rubbing wear on the label. Overall, it is a very nice copy of a 107 year old record.
