WELCOME! I Work in a record store in Austin, Texas and I am going to be selling off some of my collection, I am starting off small, but I do have all positive feedback for records and other items, including some pricey heavy hitters and no complaints thus far thankfully. This week I'm offering a lot of RARE and OBSCURE records from all sorts of genres, mostly private press stuff, like boogie funk psych soul folk xian weird etc..

For auction is: Generation De Jesus - En El Cielo y En La Tierra , 2xLP . RIGA LP 7000. 

Definitely one of the most interesting finds I've run across.  I still can't figure out exactly what this is, but it's a private press 2 LP of some live and studio sessions of Victor and Isai playing their wide variety of slammin reverb drenched tejano funk psych rock and cumbia.  Some of the tracks are really hard to hear well because they are live, but the studio ones sound really great and I have included in the sample my personal favorite, though it is not the only great song on the album.  In between the songs there are random sermons in Spanish by a pastor.  Im guessing this was a sort of late 70s hip young Mexican youth group meeting record, that is kind of a compilation of this band and groups live experiences ans concerts, they probably gave this away at the shows, interestingly on the back it says In memory of Victor and Isai, so maybe its a memorial album because they passed away and they just compiled all the recordings they had of Victor and Isai on this. Anyway, its great and I've never seen it anywhere. The second disc I think has the best tracks, with a couple latin funk psych fuzz jams and a few reverb drenched rock covers and cumbias. The first disc has one track that is pretty jammin and funky, and another weird slow synth filled rock ballad thats pretty crazy, but overall not as strong as the second disc.

   Vinyl: Disc 2: VG+ Disc 1: VG. (The second disc, which I think has the best tracks, is pretty nice for a super low budget pressing, there are a few paper scuffs and a few small scratches, but mostly the vg+ grade is due to the age wear and pressing, but it sounds quite good actually, and only has minimal noise which I think was always present. The first disc has some more paper scuffs and some more general storage wear and light scratches, its also very mildly warped but it played fine on my table. There is plenty of crackles on both discs because of the pressing type, but I was actually amazed at how good it sounded despite the imperfections, especially disc 2.)  ^Listen to Sound Clip

Jacket/Label: VG-  (This jacket has seen better days, actually the front picture is not too bad as you can see, just some mild wear, but the seams are splitting and most have split, the back has lots of ring wear, the lovely photo pics on the opening spread inside are really in good shape still, really the main problem is just the shelf wear and splitting of seams, I will leave it up to you if you want to tape it, it wouldn't be too bad a jacket if you did. Also these are hand pasted on labels so they arent perfect, one has a tiny tear which has floated down a 1/4 inch. The others seem to be okay, a little rough maybe.)
