Wow, check this out: a seven inch announced Victor Monarch record, #857, circa 1902.  Len Spencer performs his monologue "Auction Sale of Household Goods", with sound effects.  Clever stuff with great auction patter, a nice listen.  The record plays well with some surface noise.  In 1902, most people had cylinder phonographs, not disc phonographs. Very rare, go for it!
