Description
Here is Victor Monarch Red Seal record #81018, with a back sticker date of January 1, 1904. Soprano Johanna Gadski sings the famous aria "Ho-Jo-To-Ho" from the Wagner opera Die Walkure, with piano. This was recorded on November 11, 1903, and released in March 1904. Loud and dramatic singing, very enjoyable. The record plays well with moderate surface noise. A Red Seal Monarch is extremely rare, I have only seen a handful of them in 40+ years of collecting! If this is what you like, do not pas it up!
