Description
I am selling four of these very rare early RCA Victor Program Transcription records these week. I have owned these great discs for about 25 years. I bought these and many other rare records from Olin G. Carver many years ago. Veteran record collectors will remember his mail auctions which were always loaded with the best in vintage dance/jazz 78s and also all sorts of silent movies and other neat stuff. Olin had an incredible collection and brain. He was one of the kindest and nicest people I have ever done business with. A true gentleman. This is a one sided disc and plays 33 RPM. These were made in the very early 1930s. This is L-16016 Music from "Flying Colors" performed by Waring's Pennsylvanians. The record is in near mint condition and plays great. I am grading it E+ and it is probably better than that. It has the following titles: Louisiana Hayride 2. A Shine On Your Shoes 3. A Rainy Day 4. Mother Told Me So 5. Smokin' Reefers 6. Two Faced Women 7. Alone Together. The record has a neat reverse side with an Art Deco design. I have played this on modern equipment. This record is not for Victrolas or crank up phonographs. A scarce item. My starting bid is fair and there is no reserve. Do not ask me to end the auction early. If you are interested in these records, please bid. You will not be sorry. These rarely come on the market. Thanks for looking and good luck. Email with any questions and good luck.
