Description

This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a RARE Victor Records Wagner Tannhauser Overture 78 5x 78rpm Book Set  Ex/ M  Prelude to Act 3 Leopold Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra SET DM 530 Includes original documentation (booklet/pamphlet)
GREAT FIND!
Rare because the 1st record is a single side 78 with an "RCA VICTOR" patterned embossed back, 2nd record starts with side 2. meaning this was a mistake that was remedied with embossed back or purposely done. either way, Rare! Never seen this, other sets have 10 sides, this has only 9! (See photo of restricted Use Notice on the inside cover)

They don't make them like this anymore!  
Condition: Includes original Documentation! All 5 Records are in Excellent to Mint condition! Appears to be unplayed. The first record has an unusual embossed side w/ blank label (See 4th photo), Really Nice!  I did notice a defect while inspecting under the light; a small spot on the 6th side (see last photo for a close up)  Cover/Folder shows some shelf wear,  Color looks fantastic and still vivid, binding is still strong and interior sleeves are all in great condition, no tears, Please see all High Resolution photos for a closer look!
Would make a beautiful addition to any collection.  As always, will be bubble wrapped and boxed for safe delivery!
