Description

Offered is an unissued (rejected) take-1 of mx. 70905 "Sweet Violets" 
done by Gene Kardos Orchestra.
This shellac single-sided white label 78rpm was recorded by Kardos 
on October 23, 1931 but rejected. It was done again a month later and 
released.
Dick Robertson sings the vocal refrain.
Oddly, there is a Victor catalog number 22843 factory stamped in the 
run-off. However this catalog number was issued for two other 
unrelated Kardos selections.

Nicely done, as is most of Kardos' output, the record is in excellent (E) condition, and plays quite strong.
