Description

Founded in Detroit by William McKinney in 1926, McKinney's Cotton Pickers was one of the most popular Afro-American bands of the late 1920s, with hit records for Victor.  Here they play "Save It, Pretty Mama" and "I Found a New Baby," recorded a day apart (April 8 and April 9) in 1929.  SOL.  Condition E/E+
