Description

Victor record sleeve only, NO RECORD 1928, Race Blues Jazz Gospel, 78 rpm
One side shows images of eight of Victor's Race artists, covering jazz, blues, and gospel.
The other side lists eight records by these artists numbered 20225 though 21552 and dated around 1927-1928, as well as advertising copy on the quality of Victor records and artists and Victrola players.
Artists include Douglas Williams, Pace Jubilee Singers, Memphis Jug Band, Johnny Dodds, Jones and Jones, Jelly-Roll Morton, Luke Jordan, and the Rev. F. W. McGee.
See photos: A little wrinkly and faded unevenly. Some staining along edges from mildew in the distant past. Edges are worn with some small tears.
