Description

From my personal collection this is the now OOP Craft "small batch" One Step edition of the album cut directly from the original master tapes by Bernie Grundman.  It is copy no. 1456 of 3000 as shown.  In my opinion it handily betters the KPG cut in the 3xLP set which itself doesnt differ from the CD mastering imo.  This copy is nigh perfect... it has been opened and ultrasonically cleaned in my Degritter prior to its one and only playback.  Playback was nigh perfect throughout even in spite of what appears a tiny spot of non-fill at the very end of side 2 at the runouts.  It is also not 100% flat being very mildly dished and looks lightly marked on closeup which is typical of almost every RTI pressing i find, but again neither affect playback on my setup.  The packaging remains fully intact, unmarked and as new, shrink wraps remain on both the linen case and the record jacket.


I cannot find a single copy of this edition on Ebay at time of listing and only two now available on Dcogs at considerably higher asking prices than this copy which cost me alot to import from the US in the first place!  I will not profit from this sale and it is priced to reflect the minor imperfections listed above.


Reason for sale is to put funds towards an all valve phono stage!
