Description
I’ve been buying vinyl since 1972 and it’s time to thin out the collection. All records will be despatched in proper cardboard record boxes for protection.Vinegar Joe – Rock and Roll Gypsies – ILPS-9124. This was sold to me as Excellent/ Excellent and it probably was before the courier got his hands on it. It arrived with a punch hole in the cardboard box which has caught the ‘hinge’ side of the sleeve. However, this copy plays beautifully and the damage is not great.Vinyl: Lovely sheen and looks barely played. Island pink ring label. Plays with no crackle or clicks. Note that the courier damage just marginally chipped the vinyl edge (see photo – it’s just where the light/ shadow meet). However, it is minimal and does not affect play in any way. I’d rate it at Ex- as the only negative point is the courier chip.Sleeve: All four corners have small bumps/ creases with top right being worse. Some minor edgewear. However, courier damage has punctured small hole half way down the sleeve spine with some crumpling (see pictures). When open there is a very small hole in the spine centre (see picture – just to left and below Elkie’s feet). Original inner sleeve has small courier damage hole (see picture). Overall a VG- sleeve.
