Ultra rare audiophile Teldec-pressed lp of contemporary works composed for and performed by the Hungarian avant garde violinist Janos Negyesy. Pieces range from the experimental absurdist approach of Globokar to the minimalist-leaning Farinas to the serialism of Wittinger and Bozay to the Bach-paraphrasing Yun.

Negyesy is a Hungarian violinist known for his work in new music, particularly his interpretations of Charles Ives, John Cage, Cornelius Cardew, Morton Feldman, Christian Wolff, and Roger Reynolds, and he worked at IRCAM with Pierre Boulez. • Globokar is a French-Yugoslavian avant garde trombonist, composer, and conductor who studied under Andre Hodeir, Rene Leibowitz, Luciano Berio, and Andre Lafosse, worked with Derek Bailey, Evan Parker, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Henri Pousseur, Mauricio Kagel, Toru Takemitsu, and Louis Andriessen, associated with Salvatore Sciarrino and Helmut Lachenmann, served as a department head at IRCAM, and formed the New Phonic Art improv group with Michel Portal, Carlos Roque Alsina, and Jean-Pierre Drouet. • Yun was a South Korean-born composer who studied under Tony Aubin, Boris Blacher, Josef Rufer and Reinhard Schwarz-Schilling and was influenced by serialism. • Hungarian-Austrian composer Wittinger studied under Zsolt Durko and cites Gyorgy Kurtag, Witold Lutoslawski, and Rudolf Maros as influences. • Hungarian composer Bozay studied under Ferenc Farkas and was influenced by Bela Bartok. • Cuban composer Farinas studied with Aaron Copeland, was influenced by American minimalists Steve Reich and Terry Riley, associated with fellow Cuban avant garde composers Leo Brouwer and Juan Blanco, worked on electronic and computer music, and worked for the Cuban government on the reform of music in Cuba after the communist revolution. Packing - I pack professionally and with the utmost care drawn from years of experience trading vinyl internationally. I use new record mailers from Cameron Packaging (which I have determined are the best and most protective) reinforced with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap padding. All records are shipped with poly plastic sleeves and with the vinyl outside of the cover to prevent damage. All packages are completely sealed with strong packing tape covering all openings.
