Scarce 1940s 12" inch metal acetate by The Flennoy Trio.Council Recordings label.I can't find any info on this one.I've had it for a while and never was able to dig up any information about it.Songs are titled Laura on one side and has On Account Of Because on other side.The On Account Of Because side has scuffing and scratches.Has two small scratches that are feelable.Has a pretty noticeable groove wear line near middle area of groove that is approximately 3 grooves wide.The Laura side has approximately 20 non feelable scratches and also 5 feelable scratches.Has several scuffs and also has groove wear.I can see a light indentation bend on grooves that starts from outer edge to approximately halfway through the grooves.This can be seen on both sides.Just a very light dip in the grooves and does not affect play.I couldn't get a picture of it to turn out but did get a picture of the groove wear line.Looks like I play tested it years ago as it still has a small paper tag with play back info.The On Account Of Because side plays with a medium background crackle.If played with lower treble background noise gets a little quieter.Approximately 1/2 way song the background noise gets lower.Note says it plays pretty good with a few ticks and a few pops here and there.No skips.The Laura side plays with a noisy hiss but plays quieter with low treble.Music much louder than hiss.Hiss get a little quieter halfway through.Has a few ticks and a few pops.Noticeable bend/warp does not affect play.I haven't play tested this in years but note should be pretty accurate.If buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all items I sell.Just a quick note.I'm only able to ship every Friday so there may be up to a 4 day shipping delay before I'm able to ship item which I Apologize in advance for.
