Vintage 1955 Mambo For Cats 2-7" 45 RPM EP Record Set


Description:

Up for sale is an original 1955 RCA Victor 2-record 45 RPM Extended Play (EP) set titled "Mambo For Cats" (Catalog No. EPB 1063). This iconic mid-century release features wild Latin jazz and mambo renditions of classic jazz standards performed by Perez Prado, Noro Morales, Don Elliott, Damiron, Al Romero, and Tony Martinez.

Features the legendary, vibrant Mid-Century Modern cover illustration art (Jim Flora style) and original gatefold liner notes written by Bill Zeitung.

  • Format: Dual 7" Vinyl EP Set in Gatefold Picture Sleeve

  • Speed: 45 RPM

  • Label: RCA Victor "New Orthophonic" High Fidelity

  • Catalog Number: EPB 1063 (Discs: 547-0479 & 547-0480)


Condition: Discs have scuffs and fingerprints. Labels are clean. Jacket has light edge wear and minor age toning. Small pencil price mark in the upper corner inside gatefold. Back of jacket has some discoloration marks, as shown in photos. No seam splits.
