Description
1957 TEXAS A&M — MUSIC FROM AGGIELAND
Original vintage 45 RPM 2-record set featuring music and traditions of Texas A&M College.
This set, titled “Music From Aggieland,” features the:
• Texas Aggie Band • Singing Cadets • Aggieland Orchestra • Aggie Yell Practice
Released in 1957, the album was given its world premiere at Texas A&M's Guion Hall in May of that year. Contemporary Texas A&M newspaper coverage confirms the 45-rpm album and the participating musical organizations.
CONDITION: The two 45 RPM records are in very good condition, with clean surfaces and much less wear than the album cover.
The original cover has considerably more age/wear, including worn through record sleeves, visible surface wear, and edge/corner wear. Please see the photographs for an accurate representation of the cover's condition.
The records themselves are the important part of this set, and they are in notably nice condition for approximately 70-year-old records.
Includes both original 45 RPM records and original album cover.
Please examine all photographs carefully. The records pictured are the actual records you will receive.
