Description
Vintage AEROSMITH Classics Live Vol 1 (1986) & 2 (1987) Vinyl LP Records! Near Mint to Excellent preowned condition, opened but outside plastic covers still intact.
Released in 1986 and 1987 respectively, Aerosmith's Classics Live! and Classics Live! II were compiled to capitalize on the band's resurging popularity.
By the mid-1980s, Aerosmith had weathered a grueling period of lineup changes, substance abuse, and plummeting record sales. Sensing a lucrative opportunity as the band began putting their original lineup back together, Columbia Records dug into their archives to release a fresh live package.
After hearing the first volume, Aerosmith’s original members—having officially reunited—stepped in to oversee a far more cohesive sequel. The core of Volume II was recorded during a triumphant New Year's Eve show in 1984 at Boston's Orpheum Theatre. Featuring high-energy performances of hits like "Walk This Way" and "Back in the Saddle," the band's involvement helped it become a fan favorite.
