FIRESTONE CHRISTMAS FULL SET
VOLUMES 1 - 7
1962 - 1968

Here is your chance to get this classic Christmas album full set in one purchase. During the sixties, this was a Christmas must if you had a record player. You could order them ahead or catch up with them the next year with the order form. As a rule, I see a lot of the volume 5 with Julie Andrews and almost none of the volume 1 and volume 7. I guess it started slow, peaked and then dwindled in popularity.

Artists include Rise Stevens, Brian Sullivan, Columbus Boychoir, Vienna Choir Boys, Gordon MacRae, Martha Wright, Roberta Peters, Franco Corelli, Julie Andrews, Vic Damone, Dorothy Kirsten, James McCracken, the Young Americans,
Andre Previn, Jack Jones, Irwin Kostal, Leontyne Price, Vikki Carr, John Gary, Nicolai Gedda, and orchestras and choruses.

I have played all of these, and I have discovered no real issues. These all play as at least VG with some background in spots but nothing overpowering. The worst is volume 6 which I describe as a VG-, not overpowering but more than the others; 2,3, and 7 are VG+. Numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 are hi-fidelity, and 5, 6, and 7 are stereo.
The covers, as you can see from the photo, are all bright with only minor issues (that probably will clean up nicely!). As you can see in the photo, the blue #1 has a sticker peel in the upper right corner, and #6 is a little duller than the rest. Framed, these make an incredible wall or door art piece. Try it for next year!

Comment on Records:
I am a vinyl listener more than a seller, but due to space limitations, Ms. zeboxer and I (mostly Ms. zeboxer) are going to be finding new homes for a few records (she says a few thousand).
Whenever possible, I will tell you how records play on a Dual / Grado (3/4gr)/ Definitive Technogologies system.
These records were obtained over the years as I collected from friends who no longer listened, or from estates. In most estates, the purchase is all or none, so to get the records I wanted, I had to get hundreds.
Every vinyl listener is different, and while I appreciate the best, I am also tolerant and even enjoy the vinyl pops and such. I rate/describe the record as I hear it, and will not intentionally mislead anyone.
I anticipate the mails will try to break everything I send, so I always pack accordingly. Records are packed to maintain the integrity of the disc and cover, in record mailers for individual or small lots.

I generally ship by USPS priority mail, but will use other shipping services if size, costs, tracking, or speed dictate. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS
Due to new postal policies and lack of guarantees, and a recent three-month delivery of an lp, I no longer ship by surface. All international shipments are by air.
Post Office and US Federal Law requires declaration of eBay invoice amount on customs and insurance forms.
