This is a Vintage 1940 HMV 78rpm Record No B.D 5565 of Glenn Miller & his Orchestra playing In the Mood and Out of Space
Using the Rare Record Collector Condition Criteria as a guide this is in a very good condition. There are a few minor surface scratches near the end of In the Mood which are only obvious if you hold the record at an angle in a good light. The sleeve is rather crumpled after all this time but it is in a reasonable vintage state.
Some buyers like to know the provenance of a vintage item. This was one of my late father's collection. He had a passion for jazz and big bands all his life. He started playing the tenor sax as a teenager and later added the baritone and the clarinet but in his later years he played the alto until he was 86. He took great care of his records and this belongs in a collection of someone who shares his enthusiasm for the genre.
This will need very careful packing hence the postage cost.
