Description
Lot of recorded gospel sermons of Rev. Harold Loman- a prominent radio preacher. Identified on one record as being at "Denim Station, Greensboro NC." May have started on WBBB - Greensboro but I can't find any exact history.
The sermons were recorded on 10" and 12" "Audiodiscs"- some play at 33 1/3rpm and some at 78rpm. The records had been decorated with floral decals in the label area. The one with the white label has writing - "Harold Preaching" and a name I can't read. The preacher on that record may be a different one than Loman or it was him being more fiery at a revival or church meeting- much more forceful than the quiet, measured style of the other records. They are unmarked but I have compared the voice on the records to the online recording of Harold Loman and it is definitely him.
Most records are clear and play well but there are scratches, scuffs and marks that may be mold. At least one is a bit more muffled and scratched and doesn't play as well. Most records have both sides recorded but not all I only did a quick check.
Sold "as is" in condition found.
According to the show's website: "The Lights of Spiritual Guidance is a radio ministry founded by Dr. J. Harold Loman in 1937. The program is heard weekly over a network of 16 stations in North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
