Description
Vinyl is in great shape and plays with no noise other than an occasional tic. I say that to cover myself. I didn't listen to the whole record from what I heard jumping around the record it sounds real nice! I didn't hear any noise on the segments I played. Andrew's records were home grown and pressed on inferior wax so you're lucky if the LP sounds great due to the inexpensive pressings. Check pics for cover and label condition. If you have any condition questions - please ask.
This recording was taken form a marathon concert in 1975. He and his band played for 12 hours with one 30 minute break. 6 pm to 6am the next day. Burning performance as usual from all the players, especially Andrew White.
Check my other LPs this week from that memorable evening into to the morning, way back in 1975. This and all my Andrew White records are original pressings not reissues. Check my Andrew White TREATISE ON JAZZ COMPOSITIONS publication this week. There's a great list of what he was selling back in the day on the back of the thing.
I'll be posting more Andrew White LPs in the coming weeks - please check back and grab this obscure jazz sides. Check my other items for more jazz rarities! I always combine shipping. Don't pay until I send you an invoice or shipping won't be combined if you win more than one item.
