Description

Jazz in Transition is a live concert production by Transition featuring 17 artists. Artists are: Donald Byrd, Art Blakely, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, Joe Gordon, Dave Coleman, Dick Wetmore, Herb Pomeroy, Paul Chambers, Philly Joe Jones, John Coltrane, Pepper Adams, Curtis Fuller, Jay Migliori, Tommy Ball, Sun Ra, & Cecil Taylor.The musicians are primarily from Boston, Detroit, and New York and they play styles of jazz indigenous to these locales. 33 1/3 RPM long playing and label date of 1955-56. The original polyethylene bags have been replaced by paper ones, but the original album notes are found in a separate booklet enclosed. Transition was a jazz club in Cambridge Mass.
This record was examined visually only and I am not a dealer.
The album cover has been repaired on the top and side and Condition is Good to VG.+
Records: One of them only may show signs of light usage, and the labels have come off. One of them  was reattached, and the other two are enclosed in the jacket. VG+-EX
