Description

Vintage John Coltrane Dakar LP from Prestige Records, catalog number 7280, stereo edition.

Condition: Good vintage condition with visible edge and corner wear, some discoloration and shelf wear on the cover. Light cosmetic wear noted on the back cover. Includes original Prestige 'Long Playing Microgroove' labeled vinyl. The record shows light handling marks; untested for play, being sold as-is.

Features John Coltrane (tenor saxophone), Pepper Adams (baritone sax), Cecil Payne (baritone sax), Mal Waldron (piano), Doug Watkins (bass), Art Taylor (drums).

Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder, supervised by Teddy Charles. Notes by David A. Himmelstein (Oct. 1963).

Prestige 7280, printed in U.S.A. Bergenfield, New Jersey address appears on back cover.

Classic jazz album with authentic 1960s Prestige cover design and original pressing indications.
