This record is among a small stash of records that I found in my father’s garage. He evidently got them in a storage unit auction, probably in the 1980s, and they have been kept safely in his garage (attached to house—relatively cool and stable temperatures) for all these decades. I will be listing more in the next several days and weeks.
This vintage vinyl long-play 33 ½ RPM record is simply entitled “Korean Folk Song, Vol. 2.” The record company--Sidae Record Company of Seoul, South Korea—is evidently defunct. From the cover illustration and the extremely thin card board cover, I believe this record was manufactured circa the late 1950s or early 1960s.
