Description
One vintage12 inch LP, early Jamaican pressing of Lee Perry's production 'Heart of The Congos' by The Congos on the Black Art label.
Disc - Appears unplayed; clean, bright vinyl. There are some original manufacturing impairments visible which may or may not affect play but are authentic. Marked 'Made in Jamaica' and 'Heart of The Congo' (sic) on the labels and handwritten matrix numbers LP 4049-A and LP 4049-B etched between run-out grooves.
Sleeve - Original cardboard outer with manufacturing misalignment to seam at bottom of open side on the reverse. Clear, bright printing. This is the early version with the front cover photo extending to the bottom of the sleeve behind the text credits and with no white space along the bottom. The side bars are black. Very good condition with minor shelf-wear. Original plastic bag inner, creased but sound.
