Vintage - original 1968 "Disneyland’s" Pirates of the Caribbean Vinyl LP ST 3937. Opened, but appears to have been played seldom or not at all. The original dust jacket is present with an intact gatefold. First release, recognized by a yellow/rainbow or purple label, often featuring a small storybook, also known as a gatefold.
The "Disneyland" Pirates of the Caribbean vinyl LP (ST-3937), released around 1968 features the audio from the 1967 attraction. It includes the song "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life for Me)" and voice work by Thurl Ravenscroft. While the attraction opened in 1967, the vinyl LP is often cited with 1966 or 1968 release dates, with 1968 being the primary commercial release.
Side one features the ride soundtrack, including the "Pirate Overture." Side two features pirate songs sung by Thurl Ravenscroft (famously known for "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch").
CONDITION
USED - Overall condition of sleeve, jacket, gatefold and LP is excellent. Bright colors, solid graphics with very little signs of use with only minor dings seen at two corners of sleeve, rust free and intact staples and minor paper loose on gatefold gutter area - see images.
