Description
New Condition, from 1981, Numbered, Limited Edition box set with certificate of authenticity:
History: The Beatles: The Collection was a vinyl boxed set of every Beatles album remastered at half speed from the original stereo master recordings, except for Magical Mystery Tour which was mastered from Capitol Records' sub masters with the last three tracks in rechanneled stereo.
As the original owner, I purchased this box set new for collecting and never played it. It is assigned number 11,070 and was released in October 1981, "The Collection" was lauded by critics and Beatles fans worldwide for the superb sound, and sold-out completely within the first year. This item for bid contains the album art booklet with the original album art and individually numbered certificate of authenticity, 14 vinyl Beatle long play analoge albums (the "White Album" is a two vinyl disc record set) and the accompanying "Geo-Disc" in new condition.
Each album was pressed on black vinyl by the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab/EMI of Japan and are still in the original anti-static sleeves . They are:
