Description

This product is a 70's PETER TOSH "Legalize it" Promo on the CBS / Columbia record label. 
The RARE piece that makes it highly collectable is the typed letter that was found within. It's from Rolling Stones Records President Arthur Collins written to someone named Jon asking for help with Peter's career. He states that a copy of "Mystic Man" was also enclosed.
Art Collins (1953–2005) was a prominent music industry executive and artist manager who served as the president of Rolling Stones Records.
Peter Tosh's historic collaboration with the Rolling Stones began in 1978, making him the first artist signed to Rolling Stones Records. This partnership introduced his militant reggae to mainstream global audiences, most famously through the hit duet "(You Gotta Walk And) Don't Look Back" with Mick Jagger. He then opened for the Stones on the 1978 "Some Girls" Tour.
It is in clean vintage condition.
