This is an extremely rare, vintage promotional press kit for legendary funk and soul band Rufus featuring Paulette McWilliams. This is the earliest incarnation of the band, before Chaka Khan joined. Kit is jam packed, and includes a 9" x 12" outer folder, a HUGE folded 23" x 32" poster, two informational one-sheets, and eight...count 'em, eight...full-color 8" x 10" photographs. This incredibly lavish kit was prepared by their booking agency, and carries the Epic logo, which dates the materials to 1971, pre-fame. Hard to find item sent to music industry insiders only. This is not a reproduction or recent copy, this is an original, vintage artifact.
