Attention all jazz fans! For sale today we have a vintage Prestige LP 7029 featuring Sonny Rollins with the Modern Jazz Quartet (MJQ). Released 1956.

The LP has a yellow label with the name and address as follows: Prestige Records, Inc. 446 W 50th St, NYC 

Personnel as follows:

Sonny Rollins Quartet: Sonny Rollins, sax; Kenny Drew, piano; Percy Heath, bass; Art Blakey, drums.

Sonny Rollins and the Modern Jazz Quartet: Sonny Rollins, sax; John Lewis,piano; Milt Jackson, vibes; Percy Heath, bass; Kenny Clarke, drums.

Side A: The Stopper, Almost Like being in Love, No Moe, In a Sentimental Mood, Scoops, With a Song in my Heart

Side B:Newk's Fadeaway, time on my Hands, this Love of Mine, Shadrack, On a Slow boat to china, Mambo bounce, I Know.

Album is in very good condition. Both sides play beautifully. In a Sentimental Mood is fabulous!! Jacket is in fair condition and has some mildew issues in lower right hand corner. Also has mildew odor which is mitigated by the plastic sleeve. This is a must have for the serious collector.
