Vintage Recordio-Gram 78 RPM Record with Postmarked Envelope - December 7, 1945

Vintage Recordio-Gram 78 rpm record with the original envelope. The envelope is postmarked December 7, 1945 4:30 PM from Battle Creek, MI and has a 3 cent U.S. Coast Guard stamp. The Recordio-Gram spoken word message is from "Uncle Albert" to his niece Marlene in Chicago. Uncle Albert listed his name and address as "PFC Al. Locascio, Ward 2, Section 10, P.J.H, Battle Creek, Mich."
PJH stands for Percy Jones Hospital. This hospital, located in Battle Creek, was an Army hospital and major facility for soldiers returning from WW2. This message was recorded only a couple months after the end of the war and I'm sure there were still thousands of soliders being treated there, and more still arriving. 
I have no confirmation of this but I wonder if PFC Locasio was at the hospital recovering? Side 2 of the record is a brief message from someone who I think was from someone from the American Legion of Jackson, MI. Maybe this person brought a Recordio-gram machine to the hospital for some of the soldiers to record a message for their families in the weeks leading up to Christmas. This is all speculation on my part, but either way, this record and envelope are interesting pieces of American history.

This recording here comes to you through the courtesy of the Rose City Post of American Legion 324 of Jackson, Michigan. Program here originated in the hospital, Percy Jones hospital and transcribed (?) (​_unclear_) recording studios of Jackson, Michigan. (Background voice: Ok, sounds good (?))

The envelope is 6 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches. The record itself is 6 1/2 inches across.
