This gem with the very rare Studio One Rare Red color is in very good+ condition. NOTE: I have just been apprised that this album is most likely is Vg+ AND MAYBE EVEN EXCELLENT. However, I am still selling it at a very low price. It does have minor scratches, but nothing that prevents both sides from playing through from start to finish. A few days ago it was played on 2 different turntables to 4 different musicians. Despite being in the business for a combined, well over 100 years, they make no claim to being an expert on grading. Their consensus was a rating of between 5 & 7. I have only seen 1 of these in the past 10 years and have looked thoroughly. It sold for $94.00 at E-bay on February 7, 2008. An extremely sought after 7 in. album. On the Shame & Scandal side are the numbers & letters (Matrix/Runout) hand etched into the blank part toward the center that reads “CS0028.” On the Balena side are the numbers & letters (Matrix/Runout) hand etched into the blank part toward the blank part of the center that reads “CS0002.” The cat. (catalog) number for the SCA-Balena side is 712. The cat. (catalog) number for the Shame & Scandal side is 711. The record does not come with a jacket/sleeve. I am not sure what year this particular album was produced. However, the “Yellow Label” of this album was produced in 1965.
