Hiya:
Welcome to Dave's Discs. Here are 3 slabs of vintage vinyl involving Bruce Johnston of The Beach Boys.
1) Going Public - Bruce Johnston (Columbia Records PC 34459). This LP is from 1977. This is a white label Promo copy. The cover is in very good shape. There is some minor shelfwear and ringwear. The front has a timing sticker and the back has a "For Promotion Only" embossment. The disc itself is in very good shape. There is a bit of dust and a scritch or two but nothing major at all at all. The original custom inner sleeve is still in there as well.
2) Love You So... - Ron Holden (Donna Records DLP-2111). This album is from 1960. The cover is in very good shape. There is some minor shelfwear and ring wear. The back cover has the name "Calio" written on it. The cover is still in it's original (opened) shrink wrap. The shrink has a couple of old price tags stuck on it. The disc itself is also in very good shape with some minor dust and a scritch or two.
This album was produced by an 18 year old Bruce Johnston. He gets 3 photos on the back cover. He also co-wrote pretty much the whole album.
3) Cool n' Clear - Various Artists (Columbia Special Products Records CSP - 197) This elpee is from 1965. The coveris in very good shape. There is some minor shelfwear and ringwear. The disc is in very good shape as well. It's got the usual minor dust and scritches but nothing close to major. Bruce & Terry have one track on the album. The cut is "Carmen".
