Limited double vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve. In 1978 the Grease soundtrack became a phenomenon. Its good-natured combination of doo wop and early rock 'n' roll is infectious and charming, due in no small part to John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John's charismatic, engaging performances. They sing the majority of the tracks including "Summer Nights," "Hopelessly Devoted To You," "You're the One That I Want," "Greased Lightnin'" and more. Singer Olivia Newton-John, cast at Travolta's urging, had done little acting before this film. She appeared in the 1970 film Tomorrow, a science fiction musical that predated her initial chart success with 1971's "If Not for You".

I am the original owner of this record and it has always been kept in a non-smoking and no pet home.

This vinyl record has not been played in at least 25 years.  I do not have the equipment to play or test it now and do not know if it has scratches or imperfections that interfere with its sound. Therefore, these items are being sold “AS IS”, with all effects, if any. I DO NOT accept returns.

Covers show scuffs, fraying, some have open edges and ring imprints and may have my last name on the cover (and/or the record itself).

If you have special shipping requests, you must make arrangements with me for the additional costs before buying, OR the album will be shipped by USPS, with the record and cardboard separated.
