Vintage Vinyl record SPOOK ALONG WITH ZACHERLY, 1st NYC horror film host SHOCK THEATRE
John Zacherle was hired as the host of WCAU's SHOCK THEATRE which debuted in 1957.[As the host, Zacherle appeared wearing a long black coat as the character "Roland" who lived in a crypt with his wife "My Dear" (unseen, lying in her coffin) and his lab assistant, Igor. The hosting of the B&W show involved interrupting the film to do numerous stylized horror-based comedy gags parodying the film; an influential change which pioneered a now-standard television genre. So, Zacherly was the first, I thing. 
These songs are silly and they most certainly come out of a different time than the one we're living in now. 
I give the sleeve a rating of fair/good and the LP a rating of G+ to VG. I'm not a professional, or even a well-educated on How To, grader. This album sounds like old vinyl to me. You can hear a clip of the first cut on the first side in my video in the pix of this listing.
