Description

Beautiful complete Western Electric tone arm with famous Western Electric 4-A reproducer cartridge.  This is the same pick-up used for playing Vitaphone records in the late 20s.  The cartridge is hermetically sealed and still works perfectly with crystal clear high fidelity output!

There is no needle included, it uses standard steel phonograph type needles that should be changed each time you play a record.  This is one of the very best sounding cartridges for playing pre-war 78 shellac discs!

Also included is the original tone arm rest and lifter arm.  Everything is in excellent shape, all original with no touch ups or repairs.  If you are interested digitally re-mastering early 78s this is a great sounding arm and cartridge, much less surface noise than modern light weight cartridges that were designed for playing soft vinyl.
