Description

Up for auction is this demo copy of George Harrison My Sweetlord / What Is Life with the original sleeve. It will also be provided with a new card sleeve.
I will try to describe the item to the best of my abilities but please be aware that I am not a dealer and therefore will not be able to properly grade the item. I will, however, give what I believe to be my best opinion based on previous experience. Plus I will add what I believe to be the closest grade at the bottom of this page according to Goldmine.
Firstly the vinyl has not been professionally cleaned. It has only had the surface dirt removed with pressurized air but it would probably benefit from a deep clean.
Please note, the photos I have taken do not get the true condition as was having a bit of trouble with lighting and focus. My Sweet Lord is in excellent condition but it does have some Incredibly minor scratches in one particular place where it looks like it has been pulled out of the sleeve. What Is Life looks very good also with some incredibly minor marks. It also has the engraving 'Blair' in the matrix.
I dare not play the record as it looks as though may have never been played. I don't want to test it on my inferior system in case I do any damage.
I hope the information I have provided is sufficient but please feel free to contact me should you require any additional information.
I am going to grade this item as VG+ on My Sweet Lord due to the few hairline marks and VG+ on What Is Life. The sleeve I would grade at G because of the writing but no spine splits.
A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.

The item will be sent 1st class signed for via royal mail. Returns accepted with valid reasoning (i.e Grading is not agreed by both partys)
Thanks for looking and good luck.
I will be listing a few more demo records from Wings (McCartney), Rod Stewart, The Who, John Lennon, The Rolling Stones and a few others so please check out my other items if any of these interest you.
